Attention!
If you have sent a photo request between April 4 and April 11,
your request has been lost due to unforeseen circumstances.
Please resubmit your request using the form link below.
IMPORTANT!!
Please read the following instructions carefully!
While it will be some time yet before all graves are available
in the database, if you have a request for an individual
grave photo, please contact us with your request. (See link
below). We are happy to provide this service.
DO NOT put your request in
the Guestbook. It will not be dealt with.
DO NOT send your request to
a regional representative. They cannot help you.
We may have it on hand or may be able to get it in the near
future. If we can get it we will forward it to you.
Please give us as much information as you have about the
individual grave so we may be sure of finding the right
one. You may not have much information to go on but please
be sure of what information you do have. Your request will
be responded to as promptly as possible.
The photo is sent to you at no charge but we will request
a small donation for this service after you receive the photo. This donation to the
project helps to further the good work of the project.
No one is paid for their efforts of getting war grave photographs.
Please be sure to include your FULL
NAME and EMAIL and CONTACT DETAILS in all requests.
Some requests take time to fill and too often the requestee
has changed email. A pleasant request for assistance rather
than a demand for service will be appreciated. This is an
entirely volunteer service. Please send request using common
courtesies.
We cannot deal with requests without
this information.
All information is kept confidential.
Since the report on the project appeared on the CBC and in the National Post, we
have been swamped with photo requests so please be patient
and we will get to your email and request as soon as possible
but keep in mind, this could take months before we get to
your request.
Finally...Due to the high number of requests, each request
will not be acknowledged until we have a photo to send you.
If we spend valuable time acknowledging each request we
will have less time to actually work on your request. Please
be patient. Sometimes these things take a long time to get.
Requests for photos of war graves of other nations will
be considered. If you cannot get help from projects for the country in question, we will see if any of our volunteers can help you out.
Thank you for your patience and support.
